Two men are fighting for their lives after a triple stabbing in east London.

Police were called to Pownsett Terrace car park, Ilford, just before 11.30pm on Saturday to reports of an injured man in his 20s.

A second man, also in his 20s, was then found on Pownsett Terrace, also suffering stab injuries.

Both men were taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.

A teenager was also stabbed. He left the scene and self-presented at hospital, police said. He has since been discharged.

Detectives from the Met Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident.

A crime scene remains in place.

No arrests have been made and no weapons have been recovered.

A Section 60 order is in place for the IG1 area of Ilford.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD8875/31August, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
