Sure, Marjorie Taylor Greene might be a conduit for racist garbage, calls for the execution of her political opponents, thinks 9/11 was a hoax, and has pushed some truly insane legislation that seeks to ban “weather modifiers” she believes the government is secretly using to cause natural disasters, but when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein, I’ll stand right alongside her.
To her credit, Greene has thoroughly broken with her GOP colleagues over the Epstein files. While they frantically try to block their release due to the details implicating Donald Trump, Greene is adamant that the truth must come out, no matter the cost.
As such, she was one of only four House Republicans who stuck to her guns to sign the discharge petition. Standing alongside Thomas Massie, Lauren Boebert, and Nancy Mace, Greene happily signed, saying she was determined to “expose the cabal of rich and powerful elites.”
Now it seems she’s getting nervous about reprisals, taking to X to underline that she’s “not suicidal” and hinting that “something” might happen to her:
I am not suicidal and one of the happiest healthiest people you will meet.

I have full faith in God and Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. As a sinner, I am only saved through His grace and mercy.
With that said, if something happens to me, I ask you all to find out which… https://t.co/1HCbvUkTlX(@mtgreenee) September 27, 2025
Does she have a good reason to be scared?
Comments seem broadly supportive of her, with the most-liked saying we live in scary times when a sitting member of Congress has to post stuff like this. They conclude she’s “putting her life on the line”:
“They silenced Epstein in prison. They silenced witnesses. And now they’re telegraphing that anyone in power who dares to expose the network could “suddenly” vanish.”
Many others agree:
Yes.

Who can know whether Greene has good reason to post something like this? As a prominent Republican who’s now piling pressure on Trump, we can only assume she’s getting anonymous death threats daily. Plus, let’s face it, Greene suddenly dying in suspicious circumstances would give any other Republicans who dared try to expose Trump’s Epstein links pause for thought before continuing.
Or, maybe, she’s spent way too long in the conspiracy mines and has become unjustifiably paranoid. Either way, whatever her reasons, and however much we disagree with her on everything else, we can only praise her for sticking her neck out on this. Here’s hoping said neck remains intact.
