Thieves stole a motorbike from outside a West Derby home without realising it had one major flaw - it was the only one of its kind.
Tony Kennah, 50, had almost spent £10,000 on a bike when he decided he would be better off with a "cool" Suzuki model, which was cheaper due to fears of it being stolen.
However, he was left shocked to find this 'cheaper' bike stolen after he visited his sister's West Derby's home.
The software developer told the ECHO : "I went to Tesco yesterday to pick up some coffee and then I called my sister, she's part of my bubble so I thought I'd visit her.
"I was there an hour, had a coffee and the bike was gone.

"I was going to buy a £10K bike but bought this cheaper one, it cost me £1000.
"I thought it was better to not be spending thousands on a bike, it could be stolen, when this one still looks great.
"It got stolen, I thought 'it's a terrible bike, why would you steal it? You can't even have a terrible one without it being stolen'.
"It's the only one on the road so I don't know how they think they're going to be able to sell it."
The Suzuki model stood out to Tony as he knew about the history of the model.

He added: "I liked the history of the bike, the Suzuki RF900R won a world record back in it's day so I was made up to have it even if it's 26 years old."
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Yesterday we received a report of a stolen motorcycle in West Derby.
"It was reported that a motorcycle, a purple Suzuki, was taken from outside an address on Delamain Road between 7pm and 8pm.
