Iceland brings back 69p limited-edition barbecue favourite due to popular demand

With the weather getting warmer and the nation on lockdown many will be getting their barbecues out for the first time.

To help impress members of your household, Iceland has announced it is serving up a limited-edition fan favourite once again.

Iceland has relaunched its popular and Big Triple Bun following a successful run last summer.

The Big Triple Bun, which consists of a full crown, wedge and heel, is perfectly sized two fit two burger patties, a few gherkins, a sprinkling of lettuce and a dash of sauce.

It means those missing McDonald's can recreate a Big Mac fakeaway at home.

Iceland’s Big Triple Bun (69p, 2 pack) was a huge hit in summer 2019.

This is due to the fact it consists of a brioche bun sliced into three layers and is topped with sesame seeds.

And if you'll also be looking for fillings for the burger during your essential shop, Iceland has you sorted.

The supermarket suggests teaming the bun with the following products.

100% British Beef Quarter Pounders (4 for £2.00, 681g)

British 10 Mature Cheddar Cheese Slices (£2.00, 250g)

Iceberg Lettuce (£0.65)

Onions (£0.90, 1Kg)

Mrs Elswood Burger Gherkins (£1.00, 670g)

The Big Triple Bun is available in store and online now.
