A severe ice warning has been issued for the city and the county.
The Met Office has given out a yellow warning for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire as temperatures continue to plummet.
Weather experts say it will feel like -2C in the city with lows of 0C to strike tomorrow morning.
The warning will take place between 9pm tonight until 10am tomorrow, meaning drivers should be careful on the roads.
The Met Office have said to expect "injuries" from slips and falls on icy surfaces and icy patches on roads and paths.
