I went vintage shopping in Liverpool for the first time and found a North Face coat for £45

I absolutely love shopping - particularly when it comes to clothes.

Going out for a wander around the shops is one of my favourite things to do and I love having a look around the shops in Liverpool city centre. Having never been in a vintage shop, I decided to give it a go and see if I could find any bargains.

My first stop was COW on Bold Street, which is set over two floors and has plenty of branded, reworked and vintage clothes to choose from. There were plenty of band t shirts on the ground floor - perfect for music lovers.

I quickly found plenty of good quality clothes from some big name brands and was shocked at the prices. I was drawn to a red zip-up Tommy Hilfiger hoodie, which was a bargain just £22. I'm always on the lookout for the perfect pair of jeans, so was tempted by a blue Tommy Hilfiger pair for £32. I also managed to find a Calvin Klein jumper for £22, which was great quality and had a lovely fleecy feel to it.

I came across some Polo Ralph Lauren items, which were cheaper than I'd seen in the shop at the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet. A lovely black jacket caught my eye for £45, whilst a hoodie was priced at £45.

I then decided to venture over to The Vintage Store on Church Street. Again, I'd never been in here before but I'd often admired the clothes through the window when I've walked past, so I was keen to see what was on offer.

The shop has a really cool vibe to it, with loud music playing out as you walk around. I headed to the back of the store where I found some North Face bargains. I love the brand but often find some of the prices a little high, so I was pleased to see some great quality items available at affordable prices.

A black North Face coat was available for just £45 - way cheaper than I've seen elsewhere. There was also a lovely maroon fleece for £35, perfect for keeping warm in the colder weather. A gorgeous teal hoodie adorned with the North Face logo was priced at £28 - another bargain.

Overall, I was really impressed with my first trip to the vintage shops. There was plenty of quality branded items to choose from, all at way cheaper prices than I expected. I am also trying to be more sustainable when it comes to fashion, so I was pleased to see that there's affordable and stylish options that are better for the planet than the fast fashion alternative. I'll definitely be going back again.
