'I've never been so scared!' Megan Barton Hanson breaks silence after 'shock' hospital visit

Megan Barton Hanson has opened up about a recent health scare which forced her to miss a trip to Los Angeles.

The former Love Island contestant said she had “never been so scared” as when a “shocked” doctor told her to call an ambulance “right now”.

Posting a glamorous snap from a new photoshoot on Instagram earlier today, the 25-year-old wrote: “The comeback is always STRONGER than the set back.

“Finally starting to feel a little more human again, I’ve never been so scared! When the doctor looks at you in shock and says we need to call an ambulance right now, a day before I was due to fly to LA.

“Thank you all so much for your well wishes and support it means so much. Meg xx.”

Barton Hanson’s followers took the opportunity to send her messages of support, wishing her “health and happiness.”

“You were so brave darling. So proud of you overcoming EVERYTHING that is thrown at you,” one fan wrote.

“Feel better soon babe,” a third comment read.

The reality star is yet to confirm the cause of the scare.

Earlier this year, Barton Hanson revealed that she had been taken to hospital after battling a kidney infection.

“Glad to be home after a nightmare few days,” she wrote on Instagram Stories, sharing a photo of her hospital inpatient wristband.

“Don’t ignore a bladder infection it WILL spread to your kidneys. Never been so ill in my life!!”
