I've been a fan-from-afar of Sharland England for a while now. So no one was more delighted than I to hear that Shea McGee had answered my prayers and has welcomed their vintage-inspired homewares to McGee & Co. with open arms.
Founded by British journalist and tastemaker Louise Roe, this quintessential cottagecore brand just oozes nostalgia. Named after her Great Grandmother, Marjorie Sharland, the Sharland England collection at McGee & Co. is filled with unique, feminine pieces that are designed to help you create the English country summer of your dreams. Without so much as stepping foot on a plane.
From handwoven rattan pieces with dainty scallops to painted earthenware that feels like it’s been passed down through generations, let me introduce you to the British charm that has just dropped at McGee & Co..
In this sweet Instagram video shared over the weekend, Louise is seen passing over her whimsical pieces to Shea, who then styles up the sweetest tablescape on her kitchen island – complete with splattered bowls, hand-painted dishes, and the stand-out terracotta vase, which Shea fills with seasonal fresh blooms.
What makes this new addition to the McGee & Co. summer collection feel so special is the fresh perspective it brings to Shea's signature clean, classic, cozy aesthetic. Taking her palette of muted tones one step further, the Sharland England pieces add a layered yet playful English touch with tones of terracotta, caramel rattans, and hints of soft pinks. It's a style combination that feels fresh and exciting – and just in time for summer hosting.
If you're been looking to add a little whimsy to your table, this is the collection to shop now. Whether you're hosting al fresco or refreshing your kitchen shelves, this collection will bring some serious soul to your styling.

There’s a richness and charm to every piece in this collection, but a few in particular have truly earned a spot on my wishlist. While the must-see rattan furniture pieces have sold-out already, these small styling finds are my favorites.
A stand-out piece from the collection, the Verona vase has been made from earthenware and finished with a terracotta and cream splatter glaze to beautifully elevate your mantel, kitchen island, or tablescape.
This versatile tray has been woven from caramel rattan and finished in a wavy, scalloped design to add warmth to every space. I'd love to see it styled on a coffee table or used to serve up drinks outside.
Hand-painted with a delicate green and pink grapevine design, this serving platter feels like something handed down from Louise's great-grandmother herself. Perfect for hosting and impressing your guests.
A classic with a twist (literally) the Louise jug is made from a warm terracotta ceramic and finished with a twisted rope style handle for a rustic touch. It is food and drink safe, but can also be used as a lovely vase.
The concha dish, which comes in two handy sizes, is perhaps my favorite piece. Sure, it's not remotely practical, but it'll make a sweet trinket dish, a bowl for your keys by the door, or simply a decorative accent.
Another great splatter piece is this small scalloped dish that brings a artisan-like quality to your tabletop. Shea styled it on her tablescape with small snacks, but you can also use it on your nightstand for jewellery.
The only glass piece from the drop is this elegant jug made with the lightest pale blue hue. I love the handcrafted spiral detail that adds so much texture to the piece – and to your summer drinks.
Available in this playful pink and blue or Sharland's signature terracotta and cream is this sweet little shell-shaped dish. Perfect for serving up little additions to the table like butter or olives, or for using as a trinket dish.
Slightly smaller than the vine platter, this intricate serving dish is made from a light ceramic and then hand-painted with a timeless motif in pink and blue. It's beautiful, and also dishwasher safe which is a win-win.
I have a feeling that, much like the rattan furniture from the drop, these beautiful pieces won’t stay in stock for long, but if you're looking for more budget-friendly McGee designs, take a peek at Shea McGee's new outdoor collection at Target. And, of course, keep Shea's Threshold designed w/Studio McGee collaboration bookmarked for any summer new-in finds.
