In a world of celebrity beauty brands, Hailey Bieber’s Rhode manages to stand out. Not only are the products excellently formulated, but every launch goes viral – the latest of which is her long-awaited pocket bronzer.
The companion to Rhode’s cult pocket bronzer, Bieber has been teasing the product for months. But that’s not all: there’s also a new lip peptide, shaper and pocket brush in the roster, alongside a highlighter milk. Building on her core range – which began with the peptide glazing fluid, barrier restore cream and peptide lip treatments – the new line is a streamlined summer makeup capsule.
Since launching in 2022, Rhode products have becomes somewhat of a status symbol: the faintly ridiculous but surprisingly practical lip cases are now ubiquitous, while the Justin Bieber x Rhode spot stickers sold out in hours ahead of his Coachella set. The new summer collection launches on 9 June, with a snap-on lip case joining the accessories range, too.
But it’s the all-new pocket bronzer that’s got makeup obsessives excited. Available in eight shades, the cream bronzer caters for fair to deep brown skin tones, with the same compact, twist-up packaging as the pocket blush. The new pocket brush is designed to be just as portable, with flat bronzer and angular blush dual ends.
I favour cream bronzers over powder, owing to how they mimic a sun-kissed sheen rather than provide a matte, dull finish. Giving an extra hydration boost and seamlessly blending into your complexion, I find cream formulas far more forgiving – so I was more than excited to give Rhode’s new launch a try.
When does Rhode’s pocket bronzer launch?
The pocket bronzer, alongside the new peptide lip treatment flavours, pocket brush and lip shaper, launch on 9 June – but you can sign up to join the waitlist now. If previous launches are anything to go by, the line will sell out fast. I’ll be reviewing it next week – so stay tuned to see how I got on with the pocket bronzer.
