'I thought the guy I was dating was sweet - what he said really turned me off'

A woman was shocked after going on a date with a 'sweet' guy - as he implied she was an easy goer because she had children.

Sharing her story on TikTok, Sammie Morrissey, 31, said that the man at first came across very well, offering to pay for food and going the extra mile to impress.

But soon his demeanour changed, and he started getting rude with waiting staff - something that Sammie now recognises as a red flag.

Then one day, after a date, he made a comment about her children that completely ruined the atmosphere, and now she's describing the experience as one of the worse dates she's been on.

What do you think of the man's behaviour? Let us know in the comments...

Sharing her story on TikTok, where she uploads as @sammiemorrissey, Sammie said: "He seemed like a really sweet guy, he was very funny, he really laid it on thick the nice guy act.

"The second we sat down at the table, I started to get weird a*****e vibes."

Sammie said that he got annoyed at waiters and complained about the restaurant, and she said: "I was just really turned off by that, he had this weird negative energy about him and I didn't really like that.

"I offered to pay. He would not let me do it which was nice of him."

Then, things went from bad to worse when they left the diner when she refused to go back to his place.

She claims the man said: "Look we're both adults here. I know that you're not exactly a virgin. You have a kid."

That was enough for Sammie and she put an end to their romance and shared the story on TikTok for others to enjoy.

She said: "Man, he really got me enough on that first coffee date to meet him for dinner.

"I've officially been on 38 first dates in the past two years."

And a third wrote: "I’m glad that you have boundaries you know what you want and what you deserve. I'm happy that you are safe."
