Standing there excitedly clutching to his new toy, the smile on little Reggie's face is enough to melt any heart.
But it was the kindness of a random stranger that day that moved his auntie to tears.
Rebecca Berry had only nipped to Tesco in Failsworth with her nephews for some sun cream last Thursday when the two-year-old clamped eyes on the Peppa Pig car.
He begged his auntie to buy it for him - as most children would - but Rebecca had only brought enough cash for the sun cream and told him they'd have to come back another time to get it.

They grabbed what they needed from the aisles and headed to the check out and as they did a security guard came over to Rebecca with the toy and receipt.
He said that another shopper had seen how much Reggie wanted the toy and decided to buy it for him - much to the youngster's delight.
"I nearly cried," Rebecca, 18, said.
"The man wanted to stay anonymous so I wasn't able to say how thankful we were to him.

"Reggie was so happy, he absolutely loves Peppa Pig and hasn't stopped playing with the car since.
"It wasn't expected at all and was such a nice thing to do."
Rebecca shared a post on Facebook with a hope the kind-hearted stranger would see it.
It has already been shared 2,900 times with many praising the touching act of kindness.
"I'd like to find the man to thank him," Rebecca added. "I just want him to know that we are really grateful. He made us all so happy."
