Shopping experts shared some of their favorite items you should buy this spring. Here’s what they recommend.
Outdoor Blanket
- Price: $29.98
The Member’s Mark outdoor blanket is a good spring buy you can use for beach days or trips to the park, Melissa Cid, consumer savings expert at MySavings.com, wrote in an email.
“It’s big enough for the whole family, and the water-resistant backing keeps you dry on grass or sand. I also love that it folds up with a strap, so you can just grab it and go,” she explained. “Plus, it comes in several different patterns!”

Cheesecake Minis
- Price: $18.27
These cheesecake minis come in a variety pack of 63 individually-wrapped miniature cheesecakes. They’ve also received a 4.8-star rating with over 6,400 reviews from shoppers on the Sam’s Club website.
“You can stick these mini cheesecakes in your freezer, and the next time you host dinner or bring a dessert to a friend’s house or a potluck, you can pull these out,” explained Melanie Musson, shopping expert at Quote.com. “They’re a hit because they’re the perfect size to try a couple of varieties, and they’re delicious.”
Square Outdoor Planter

Cid is a big fan of the brand’s 14-inch square outdoor planter, which has customizable drainage options and an internal water reservoir.
“The self-watering and built-in drainage make it a true ‘set it and forget it’ option,” she pointed out. It’s also $5 through Apr. 29.
Disinfecting Wipes
- Price: $10.98
“It’s spring cleaning season, so it’s a good time to purchase disinfecting wipes in bulk so you don’t run out as you clean your kitchen and bathroom,” Musson noted. “These wipes are significantly cheaper than the name-brand competitors.”
The pack of wipes comes with four canisters, each containing 78 wipes. If you purchase a similar pack from Target’s Up&Up brand, it costs about a dollar more with fewer wipes.
Four-Burner 36-Inch Gas Griddle

If you’re looking to upgrade your grill, now is a great time, according to Cid. The Member’s Mark four-Burner 36-inch Gas Griddle comes with a cover and has 720 square inches of griddle surface.
“It gives you way more versatility from pancakes and eggs to smash burgers and stir fry all in one place,” Cid added.
Spring Floral Wreath

“This beautiful wreath is perfect for your front door, but it also looks good inside your house if you’d rather,” Musson suggested. The 26-inch spring floral wreath comes in two designs have a mix of hydrangea, rose and other blooms. The vine base is also covered in faux leaves and yarrow.
