Mike Tindall has been defended by his friend James Haskell over his I'm A Celebrity comments that 'broke royal protocol'.
The royals generally do not comment on politics - but Mike, who alongside his wife Zara Tindall, are both not working royals - made a comment about politicians. Chatting with ex Strictly Come Dancing star Seann Walsh, Mike said: "I just think all politicians are f*****s."
During the show yesterday, Mike made the comment about politicians, stunning viewers at home. "I mean for them to even have the conversation just because they're all Boris fans that didn't like how Boris was ousted that you won't pick the best person for the job, that just sums politicians up," he added during the chat with the Strictly star.

Now James Haskell, his good friend and a former I'm A Celebrity campmate, has defended his pal over the comment he made.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain today, James said: "He would have had to get all sorts of permission to do that, but he isn't a serving, not a working royal, Zara's not a working royal.
"I think he's entitled to do what he wants to do, I don't disagree with his view on politicians by the way, but I won't repeat it."

He added: "I think, actually, it's not King Charles talking about it, it's not Prince William talking about it, it's not those people making those statements. It's somebody so far removed making a comment."
During the show, Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver also shared her concerns over Hancock, as she said to Boy George: "You've got an economist in camp with a load of creatives, it is all maths, he uses a different side of his brain."
And whilst in the Bush Telegraph, she added: "I really believed him when he said that thing about 'I'm looking for forgiveness' but the other things that come into play I am like 'Are you?'

"I think Matt is doing everything he can to fit in as the days go by we're finding more and more common ground so that's nice that there's something other than the elephant in the room."
She added: "Because there is an elephant in the room, I'm hoping we're all trying to see past it."
Mike Tindall has garnered a number of fans since he started his jungle stint just over a week ago. He has become the first member of the Royal Family to enter the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
