I'm A Celebrity 2022 campmates set to get together for special reunion

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Scarlette Douglas has revealed the 2022 campmates will get together for a special reunion in just a few weeks time.

The 35-year-old, who was the second celebrity to be voted off the ITV show, shared the news when appearing on Lorraine this morning, January 26. Scarlette, who is known for presenting A Place in the Sun alongside Jonnie Irwin, said she and her co-stars would meet up to celebrate Leeds radio DJ Chris Moyles' birthday.

Plans are in place to celebrate his 49th in February and most of the campmates have confirmed their attendance. Scarlette said she was looking forward to the party despite being "ghosted" in the WhatsApp group chat.

She told Lorraine: "On Sunday I dropped everybody a little message saying 'love you all and I'm missing the fun' and no one replied. So either they are not missing the fun or they are not missing me."

She added: "The good news is, we will be getting together in a few weeks time because it is Chris Moyles' birthday." Lorraine jokingly interrupted: "He is 25."

To which Scarlette replied: "Yes, he is indeed, exactly that. So I think we will be reunited and I think I will be having words with them, why have they not replied to me?"

She did not reveal where exactly the party would take place or whether former health secretary Matt Hancock has also been invited. During the latest season of I'm A Celeb, which aired on November 27, Chris Moyles said he was "gutted" to have been voted off the show before the MP for West Suffolk.

He told presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly at the time: "I’m gutted Matt is more popular than me, what’s going on."
