I'm A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec take swipe at PM Boris Johnson and 'repellent' cabinet

I'm A Celebrity presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donelly took a swipe at Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his "repellent" cabinet during last night's show.

The hosts were discussing the latest Bushtucker Trial tackled by Shane Richie called Cruel Jewels.

The EastEnders actor had to crawl through display cabinet full of critters including rats and snakes in his search for much-needed stars.

As they introduced the segment, Ant explained: "In this one he had to deal with a cabinet full of repellent cold-blooded hostile creatures."

Dec then joked: "Evening Prime Minister, how's your isolation going?"

Shane faced a particularly gruelling task as he faced reams of critters from snakes, spiders and scorpions to rats and bearded dragons.

As well as crawling through cabinets stuffed with nasties, he also had to put his head into several and use his mouth to free the stars.

He'd previously admitted he was "nervous" about the challenge, but Shane came away with an impressive 12 stars - giving the campmates a good dinner.

However, some viewers complained he'd had help from Ant and Dec.

At one point, the presenters were heard telling the actor he'd missed a star by his foot and Shane thanked them before retrieving it.

Ant and Dec also seemed to coach him into picking up another of the stars, with viewers complaining they should have just left him to it.

One wrote: "Ant and Dec need to stop helping."

Another added: "Is it me or are Ant n Dec helping the celebs too much this year?? the way they told Shane where that star was underneath the throne ffs."
