'I'm 72 and people say I dress inappropriately for my age - but I'm not a grandma'

A 72-year-old woman has hit back at trolls who say she dresses 'inappropriately' for her age by embracing her style and showcasing her outfits and online.

Proving that age is just a number, expert dancer and wellness advocate Keiko Guest has gone viral on TikTok for her incredible dancing abilities as people are impressed by her level of fitness at her age - but others have slammed her outfits for being too revealing, demanding she 'dresses her age'.

Rather than succumbing to the criticism, Keiko has taken it in her stride by posting videos mocking the haters while showcasing her outfits, which include low-cut tops and short dresses with knee-high boots.

The 72-year-old has opened up about her mental health struggles on the app, and has gone viral thanks to her positive outlook on life and impressive athletic abilities.

She also strongly advocates for thrift shopping on her platform, and often shares outfits that she's created from second-hand items.

Hitting back at the trolls who judge her sense of style, Keiko has posted a comedic skit that directly rejects the comment "You need to dress appropriately for your age".

At the start of the video, the woman is dressed in a grey knit sweater with a button-up shirt and tracksuit bottoms, holding an adult walker with the caption "Like this at 72?" written across the clip.

She then probes her audience by saying: "Does this meet your approval?"

The footage then moves to Keiko in a completely contrasting outfit, in a bid to debunk the myth that all women her age need to dress a certain way to avoid scrutiny.

Keiko is seen wearing a low cut black bodysuit with slits running across the chest area, paired with ripped jeans and strappy stilettos, as well as silver hoop earrings.

"I like this better. What do you think?" she says to her viewers as the video concludes.

The starkly different outfits are supposed to prove that age is just a number and that the 72-year-old shouldn't have to prescribe to societal norms to live a happy life.

Keiko strongly rejects the notion that she needs to dress as she does in the first clip, and says she 'doesn't care' about the haters, as she focuses on expressing herself through fun and creative outfits.

The viral video, which has amassed a huge 4.6 million views on TikTok, has sparked praise from thousands of commenters who love the woman's attitude.

People are stunned by Keiko's athletic physique, with one commenting "wow beautiful I hope I look as good as you at 72!".

Another wrote some powerful advice in the comments section, adding: "Mam keep slaying.. misery loves company".

One admiring social media user said "when I grow up, I wanna be just like you" while another added "ma'am if I looked as good as you then I would dress the same way".

When asked what her secret is to keeping youthful in spirit and appearance, Keiko replied saying: "Been working with teenagers for over half a century. I’ve taught, directed, coached, wardrobe/costumed, posed them. I can do it in my sleep".
