It doesn’t matter how old your kids are, they are still your babies. You still reach out for their hand when you cross a road, fill their Christmas stockings to bursting, and cram as many candles on their birthday cake.
One man has revealed the lengths his mum goes to when ensuring he still feels the Christmas spirit, even at 33-years-old. He's gushed over his 'mammy' and her lovely festive tradition, as she still makes him up a Christmas bed every year - even as an adult.
She even includes his favourite childhood cuddly toy in the sweet set-up. Her married son shared a picture of his Christmas bed on a Reddit forum, and users were overwhelmed at his mum’s loving act and it’s put everyone in the mood for Christmas.

"My mam still does my old room up like this when I visit for Christmas. I'm 33 years old," he said. "And yes, that's my favourite cuddly toy from when I was tiny."
The comments to his post on Reddit has touched him deeply: "I'm extremely lucky to have my mam. She's amazing. I'm really glad so many people vibed with this and hugs to everyone who misses their own mams. My mam would probably adopt you all," he says.
"The photo is from last year, but I was transferring photos from an old phone today and it made me smile, and I'm glad it's made so many people happy," he continued to explain.
Some Reddit posters decided to mock the man's festive tradition, as one nastily joked "I bet you're single" while others urged him to "get a life".
But he’s ignoring the miserable few. "I'm married (hence the two sets of towels on the bed as Mam also loves her daughter-in-law) and live away from home with my own wife and child but we visit both sets of parents at Christmas because we love our families."
If anything was going to fill you with Christmas cheer his post certainly did and it has had the effect of lifting the mood of many.
"Very sweet! And you would be so disappointed if she ever stopped," said one comment.
Another Redditor echoed the sentiment, adding: "These are the kind of things that warm my heart. This picture is the key to understand how love can take any physical form. Please, enjoy and hug your family as much as you can. You are very lucky."
"Your mom still love and cares about you. And you will always be her beloved baby," someone else wrote.
Clearly his mum is not the only one to do this for grown up kids either, as one commenter revealed: "I’m 51 and still do things like this for my grown kids. I think I may even put in more effort into their stockings and presents now. It’s the best when they’re home."
