'I just love it' - Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser comments on his future and Arsenal transfer rumours

Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser emerged as a target for Arsenal earlier this month and the speculation hasn't stopped since.

The Emirates hierarchy have long been admirers of Fraser and football.london understands that he is emerging as one of their top targets as they search for a winger in the summer transfer window.

The Scotland international has once again been asked about the rumours and said 'what will be, will be' for his future while stating his love for Bournemouth and his hope to return there in retirement.

Speaking to the BBC Fraser said: "I'm just trying to get on my work. Every player says that, I'm just trying to get on with my work every players says that and tries to get away from the speculation.

"But at the same time I think the best thing I can do is play well on the pitch. There's no point in stuff coming out but then I start to have bad games.

"So I need to get back to what I'm doing: start scoring, start winning again and then what will be will be. Like I said I love it here. Not just the football club but the manager and especially my teammates as well. I'm close with them all. But going home I just love it, I've always said after football I will live down here."

While Fraser has been fairly receptive to the rumours in recent weeks, his chairman Jeff Mostyn has certainly been more resistant to the suggestion of a transfer.

Mostyn has seemed to suggest that the south coast club would offer Fraser an improved contract with the midfielder's current deal expiring at the end of next season, claiming they would talk to Fraser.

Arsenal star Alex Iwobi reveals the two times he came close to leaving the Gunners

"Ryan Fraser is a Bournemouth player," he said. "Callum Wilson is a Bournemouth player.

"We just don't want anybody to leave the football club. Your prized assets are prized assets for a reason and we want to continue the momentum that we have achieved.

"Four consecutive seasons in the Premier League. We are going to start our next season, which will be our fifth year [and] we want our very best players to be playing for our football club."
