'I get mistaken for Cara Delevingne all the time - it’s hard to date as men obsess over me'

A woman constantly mistaken for Cara Delevingne "loves" being compared to the model but admits she struggles dating as men obsess over her. Reilly Harrison, 25, says she gets told daily that she looks like the supermodel but she finds the comparisons “flattering” and loves her striking eyebrows.

She is “grateful” to Cara for making her thick eyebrows “cool” after wanting to get them waxed or plucked when she was 16. Now strangers tell her she looks like the star and even spot they have similar features and mannerisms – such as the same shaped mouth.

But Reilly admits she finds the comparison “irritating” when she is trying to date – as she often gets “fetishised” for looking like the model. Reilly, a data analyst, from Dallas, Texas, US, said: “I’m the Cara Delevingne with bigger boobs.

“I’m like her American sister or cousin. People come up to me all the time and tell me I look like her.

“It’s flattering. But I find it irritating when I’m trying to date.

“They all use the chat up line – ‘Oh my god, Cara Delevingne my celeb crush’. They are fetishing their love for her.

“I un-match with guys as soon as they use that line. My eyebrows are my defining feature.”

Reilly used to want smaller brows when she was younger but her mum, Mik, 50, warned her not to get them waxed or threaded. When Cara Delevingne made bushy eyebrows popular, Reilly was grateful she had left her brows alone.

Reilly said: “I’m indebted to her. Big brows were suddenly cool.

“Her modelling career made school better for me.” Reilly looks so much like the model strangers have told encouraged her to take a DNA test and have mistaken her social media videos for young tapes of Cara.

She said: “When I look at videos I can see I have similar mannerisms to her. My face moves in a similar way.

“We have the same shape of mouth. We move the same way.”

Reilly says her striking eyebrows are completely “natural” and only uses a little brush and has them trimmed twice a year. She said: “My mum and sister have small eyebrows.

“I have the boldest. It would be cool to meet Cara face to face. I’m here if she ever needs a stunt model.”
