Current Rangers star Bojan Miovski is harder to defend against than former Ibrox talisman Alfredo Morelos.
That's the claim of Charlie Mulgrew, who faced off against both players during his time at Dundee United after signing in 2021.
Miovski was at Aberdeen during that time, with Morelos very much still Rangers' first pick frontman.
Of course, Miovski is now Rangers' new leading striker having joined the club from Girona for around £4m during the summer.
And Mulgrew insists he will cause more issues for defenders than what Morelos managed back in his prime at the club.
"[Miovski] was a good player, you always knew you were in for a game the way he took the ball in, his movement was always good off the back of you into the box," he explained on Go Radio's Football Show. "You'd imagine he'll get more chances and more opportunities to score.
"I found it harder to play against Miovski than Morelos to be honest.
"I didn't see the hype with Morelos, every time I played against Morelos I thought I don't see the hype in this guy.
"I'd come up to Scotland to play probably after he had his peak season when he was scoring in Europe."
He continued: "He was strong so you didn't want to get in a fight with him, he tried to kind of cause a wee bit of aggro.
"But if you never got involved in that, he never got involved in the game too much.
"He read the play, I don't think he was brilliant in the air. Nobody can deny his goal record in Europe but I'm just telling you how I felt against him.
"I always found it harder to play against Miovski."
