'I don't understand why people think my name is weird - it's just unique'

A woman who has never understood why people think name name is "weird" has turned to the internet for answers as to why it leaves others so confused.

Tuesday was named after the day on which she was born, and has spent her whole life explaining the meaning to everyone she meets.

She said that most people say the name is bizarre, but she likes it and can't understand why people think it is unusual.

She's now taken to TikTok to ask fellow users what they think of it - and she's been inundated with praise.

In a TikTok video, a woman asks: "What's the weirdest thing you have named your child?"

What do you think about Tuesday's name? Let us know in the comments...

Tuesday saw an opportunity, and quickly replied: "Ok so even though people still act like it's weird. Y'all let me know is it weird?

"My name's Tuesday. I don't think that's a weird name."

Other TikTok users rushed to Tuesday's video to praise her for the unique name.

One said: "Not weird at all! If you were named Thursday, well.... but Tuesday is cool!"

While another commented: "I think it's a cute name."

And a third wrote: "Nothing weird about the name Tuesday...it is original."

"I love it," added a fourth user.

Meanwhile, a young woman had to change her name as a child because she was being bullied for her real name - as her parents had named her Ikea.

Jasmine Dagless, 19, was named Ikea at birth after her mum saw a TV advert for the Swedish furniture store while pregnant, and she thought it sounded right.

But when she grew up, Jasmine was dubbed 'flat pack' by school bullies who would cruelly joke about her unusual name.

Eventually, she'd had enough of the bullying and legally changed her name after putting up with the insults for decades.
