This is by far the most inspirational book I’ve ever read. Malala is such an inspiration to so many people, myself included. Normally I’m not such a big fan of non-fiction books, but this book had me hooked. It was so interesting to read about what happened to her, and her country.
Reading this book put my life into perspective, and made me feel very grateful for what I have. At the beginning of the book, Malala and her family were grateful for being able to play cricket in the alley way by their house, but kids these days are upset because they got the wrong coloured iPhone. It made me realise that I have a lot, and I should be more grateful that I have what I have.
Malala didn’t deserve anything that happened to her. But still, even after she was shot, she kept fighting for what she believed in. She didn’t back down, and kept fighting for girls to get an education, to be equal with boys.
This is a book that everyone needs to read. I think that everyone should know about Malala, and all she’s been through.
This is definitely my favourite non-fiction book, and Malala is one of my favourite people. This book deserves 5 stars.
