Police are hunting three men following the attempted murder of a man in Linwood.
The 35 year old was attacked with weapons near to the car park on Blackwood Avenue at 3.20pm yesterday.
The man was punched and kicked to the head and body during the incident, which police say also involved offensive weapons.
He was rushed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where he underwent surgery.
He remains in serious condition.
Detective Sergeant Chris Hughes of Paisley CID said the attack was being treated as attempted murder.
He said: “We are pursuing a positive line of inquiry.
“However we would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the attack to come forward.”
