Hunt for bulldog puppy stolen from owner in knifepoint robbery during walk

A search has been launched for a missing Bulldog puppy who was stolen from his owner at knifepoint.

Spot, who is just three-months-old, was taken by two men in Orpington, southeast London, just before 9am on Tuesday, March 3.

The puppy was being walked by his owner's stepfather, a man in his early 30s, when the two men got out of a white Mercedes CLA sport and produced a knife.

The driver threatened the owner, before taking the puppy away from him, Kent Live reports.

The suspects were last seen on the A20 at Fiveways.

Police enquiries reveal the car was last known to be in the Canning Town and Stratford areas.

Owner Stephen, 20, said his step-dad followed the thieves in his car (SWNS)

A spokesperson for London Metropolitan Police said: "The driver of the car is described as black, aged about 20, with his hair in corn rows and a scar on his right cheek.

"This man was wearing a white or cream jacket with black patches on it, with a red outline.

"The passenger was also black, aged about 20 with short hair.

"This man was wearing a navy blue jacket with the same patches as the driver."

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the robbery, recognises the suspect’s description, or has any information on Spot’s whereabouts to call police.

Those with information are asked to call police on 101 or contact via Twitter @MetCC quoting CAD 1632/03MAR.

To give information 100% anonymously contact independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at   crimestoppers-uk.org  .
