Hundreds take to streets of Glasgow for Love Rally and march

Hundreds of people took to the streets of Glasgow today for a Love Rally and march.

The event is part of Who Cares? Scotland's campaign to bring more love into the care system.

The organisation say love is too often absent from the lives of those who grow up in care.

By bringing the city streets to a standstill during the busy October break, the organisation hope everyone will "stop and realise that all children deserve love."

A spokesperson for Who Cares? Scotland said: "Failure to show love has consequences that last throughout people’s lives. Many Care Experienced people speak about the impact this has on their self-worth, their place in the world and ability to love others."
