A candlelit vigil has been held for mum-of-one Nadine Lott as she fights for her life in hospital.
Nadine, 30, was seriously injured after an incident at her house in Arklow, Co Wicklow in the early hours of Saturday morning.
And hundreds of well-wishers turned out for the young mum as she remains in a critical condition at St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin.
Organisers thanked those for coming out to support Nadine at the event in Arklow town last night.
Friend Jenny Flanagan said: "On behalf of myself and all the girls I just want to thank each and every one of you who showed up in support and solidarity for our Fighter Nadine!!
"Love will get her through this."
And in a post on social media locals flooded in to show their support for Nadine and her family.
One wrote: "Thinking of u all. Keep up the fight Nadine. Praying every day and night."
While another added: "What a fantastic show of love and prayer for Nadine and her family."
Daniel Murtagh, 32, appeared in Bray District Court yesterday charged with assault causing serious harm to the 30-year-old.
