Human remains have been found near to Swansea Airport, police have confirmed.
South Wales Police said that they were alerted to reports of a human remains found on land near to Swansea Airport - understood to be an area known as Fairwood Common - at around 12.50pm on Saturday, December 3.
They state that they are treating the death as unexplained and are in the process of dentifying the individual.

Detective Inspector Gareth Jones said: “South Wales Police received a report around 12.50pm on Saturday 3rd December that human remains had been found on land near to Swansea Airport.
“We are currently in the process of identifying the individual and at this stage are treating the death as unexplained.”
