Flames and a large explosion could be heard across Tredegar on Sunday night as garage was set ablaze in the small Blaenau Gwent village of Georgetown.
The incident took place on Sunday, April 25, at around 9 pm in the residential area of Vale Terrace, and was the result of a fire in a garden garage that caused huge flames to rise above the houses.
While it is unclear what initially started the fire, it is understood that no-one was seriously hurt.

Julie Morgan Harvey saw the blaze from her window only a few hundred yards away and immediately began filming on her phone.
She said: "It was around 9 pm when I was going upstairs to close the blinds that I spotted the fire through my window.
"The flames were very high and there was a loud bang as well. Fire engines were there within about five minutes to put it out however, and we were glad to hear that nobody was hurt."
Another eye witness who lives nearby said: "We don't know what caused the fire at this point, but it was quite a nasty one and the flames were very high. The main thing is that nobody was hurt by the incident, and hopefully the cost of the damage won't be too much either."
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed they attended the incident in a statement.
It said: "At approximately 9:05 pm on Sunday the 25 th of April, 2021, we received reports of a domestic fire in Tredegar.
"Crews from Ebbw Vale and Brynmawr station attended the scene and safely extinguished the fire. The incident concluded at approximately 10:50 pm."
