According to HubSpot, over 75% of its customers are already using ChatGPT, and this new tool is designed to help them make informed decisions without switching between platforms. The integration will allow teams across marketing, sales, support, and customer success to perform detailed analysis and take action within their existing workflows. For example:
- Marketing teams can identify high-converting customer segments and generate tailored nurture sequences.
- Sales teams can segment target companies by attributes like revenue or tech stack and find new enterprise leads.
- Customer success teams can surface inactive but promising accounts and generate engagement strategies.
- Support teams can analyze past ticket trends to forecast staffing needs and automatically respond to spikes via HubSpot’s Breeze Customer Agent.
The connector is already available to all HubSpot users who are on a paid ChatGPT plan. Enabling this feature will involve toggling HubSpot as a data source within ChatGPT and authenticating the account. Once it’s connected, you can start querying with the data.
Moreover, the company has also kept data privacy in mind. If we go by the shared press releases from HubSpot, users can only access CRM data they are permitted to view, and none of the customer data accessed through the connector is used for AI training by ChatGPT.
When it comes to the availability part, the feature is rolling out globally to multiple ChatGPT subscription tiers: Team, Enterprise, and Edu in the EU; and Team, Enterprise, Pro, Plus, and Edu in other regions.
