Howie Mandel was less than impressed with Kelly Ripa after she made a comment about his looks and age following his recent 70th birthday.
During Monday’s (22 March) episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Ripa, alongside co-host and husband Mark Consuelos, congratulated the America’s Got Talent judge on the milestone birthday.
“It doesn’t make any sense,” Ripa said, to which Mandel questioned her on what she really meant. “You look great,” she replied.
“I don’t like that because that’s a caveat,” he said, explaining that it should not matter that he is 70 and that he found the supposed compliment insulting.
“No. No. It's like saying you're smart for a stupid person. Oh, you seem smart, you seem smart, you see, no, I don't look good.”
