How will Crystal Palace line up against Wolves? James McArthur set to return

Crystal Palace's bright start to the season was brought firmly to a halt at Tottenham last weekend, but manager Roy Hodgson is never one to rip up his plans when things go awry.

The Eagles missed midfielder James McArthur in North London last weekend after the Scot failed a late fitness test on Saturday morning.

While James Tomkins made his return to the first team fold, with a place on the bench at Tottenham, his long injury lay-off means a start against Wolves this weekend is unlikely.

Hodgson will be hoping that, back at Selhurst Park and facing a Wolves side weary from their European exploits on Thursday night, Palace take their chance to bounce back .

Jordan Ayew should continue to lead the line while Andros Townsend deserves to keep his place having been named on the bench against both Manchester United and Aston Villa.

Predicted Crystal Palace lineup

[4-3-3]: Guaita; Ward, Cahill, Sakho, Van Aanholt; Townsend, Milivojevic, McArthur, Schlupp; Zaha, Ayew
