Summer Game Fest, the largest gaming convention of the year, is set to go live on June 5, 2026, at 2:00 pm PT / 5:00 pm EST / 10:00 pm BST. This gaming showcase promises to show off world premieres of brand new, unannounced games, and show off gameplay footage and info for upcoming games from the world's leading gaming studios and underground indie developers.
In addition to Summer Game Fest, there will be several other gaming showcases happening in the same week as it, including the Xbox Games Showcase, PC Gaming Show, PlayStation State of Play, and much more.

PlayStation State of Play
The first major gaming showcase next week will be the PlayStation State of Play on June 2, 2026, 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET.
This event will cover a variety of PlayStation 5 titles, including an extended look at the upcoming superhero game, Marvel's Wolverine, made by the developers behind the critically acclaimed Marvel's Spider-Man series.
Summer Game Fest
Next up, we have the main event, Summer Game Fest, which is scheduled to go live on June 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET.
This will be a two-hour event where Geoff Keighly and Lucy James will present dozens of world premieres of new games and news updates on highly anticipated upcoming videos across the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC platforms.
Day of the Devs
Two hours after Summer Game Fest concludes, we'll be treated to Day of the Devs on June 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM PT / 7:00 PM ET.
This is a non-profit event, founded by DoubleFine Productions and @iam8bit, and it will showcase a variety of upcoming indie games.
Future Games Show Summer Showcase
On June 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET, GamesRadar+ will host its annual Future Games Show Summer Showcase event.
The livestream will run for two hours and will show off a variety of world premieres, new trailers, playable demo shadowdrops, and an exclusive gameplay reveal for Exodus, an upcoming sci-fi, action-adventure RPG created by developers who worked on the classic Mass Effect franchise.
Xbox Games Showcase
On June 7 at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET, Microsoft takes the floor to host the Xbox Games Showcase, which will announce a tidal wave of news updates for upcoming Xbox titles and reveal brand new ones.
After the Xbox Games Showcase concludes, it will immediately be followed by Gears of War: E-Day Direct. This livestream event will show off gameplay footage and new information regarding this highly anticipated prequel to the Gears of War franchise.
PC Gaming Show
This string of summer gaming showcases will conclude with the PC Gaming Show on June 7, 2026, at 12:00 AM PT / 3:00 PM ET.
This event, created by PC Gamer, will showcase info on over 50 games coming to PC platforms, along with developer interviews for several of these titles.
