Schitt’s Creek has dominated the comedy categories at this year’s Emmys, taking home nine trophies in total.

The Canadian sitcom bagged acting awards for its four leads - Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Dan Levy and Annie Murphy - as well as the top trophy for Outstanding Comedy Series.

The show has gathered immense popularity over its six-season run, which will undoubtedly only increase following its Emmy success.

How to watch all seasons of Schitt's Creek in the UK

Luckily for us, all six seasons of Schitt’s Creek are available to stream on Netflix in the UK.

Each season consists of 13 episodes, apart from the final two, which clock in at 14.

What is Schitt's Creek about?

The series follows the wealthy Rose family who lose their immense fortune after being defrauded by their business manager.

The family, whose wealth came from their father’s role as a video store magnate - then have to move to a tiny, rural town called Schitt’s Creek, which they once purchased as a joke.

There, the family brush up against the locals as they adjust to life living in two adjacent rooms at a motel.

Who stars in the show?

The father and son of the Rose family are played by real-life father-son duo Eugene Levy and Dan Levy.

Eugene Levy is known for his roles in a range of classic comedy films such as the American Pie movies.

The matriarch Moira Rose is played by Canadian screen legend Catherine O’Hara, who starred in the Home Alone films.

Daughter Alexis is played by Canadian actress Annie Murphy.

Emily Hampshire, Chris Elliot, Jenn Robertson and Noah Reid also star.
