How to watch Roald Dahl's The Witches remake in the UK

Roald Dahl's The Witches has had a modern remake and you can finally watch it in the UK.

For those unfamiliar with the tale, the film is based on the 1983 book by the iconic author which follows a little boy and his grandmother who discovers a society of witches who want to turn the world's children into mice.

A film was previously made in 1990 starring Rowan Atkinson but the latest version has had a new makeover.

Anne Hathaway stars as the Grand High Witch alongside Atlanta's Jahzir Bruno and Octavia Spencer.

The Witches has skipped a cinema release and is now available as a 48 hour rental for £15.99 via Premium Video on Demand (PVOD) platforms, including Amazon, iTunes and the Google Play store.

The movie will be perfect for keeping Halloween festivities to a minimum this year and has been deemed a PG so is a perfect family watch.
