How to watch Glastonbury 2019 on TV today - channels, live streams, timings for Stormzy and full line-up

The UK's biggest music festival has finally kicked off, returning after a fallow year in 2018.

If you didn't manage to nab tickets for Glastonbury Festival, have no fear, as you can still watch all your favourite acts from the comfort of your sofa.

There's a dazzling display of talent on offer today. The Pyramid stage will feature live performances from Bjorn, Sheryl Crow and grime superstar Stormzy, to name a few.

Coming to the rescue of many disappointed would-be festival goers is the BBC, who first broadcast from Worthy Farm back in 1997. They're offering plenty of ways to experience the best of the festival in your living room.

Fans can tune into BBC Two, or those on-the-go can use the ultra convenient BBC iPlayer all weekend. If you're unable to sit and watch, you can listen to performances on Radio 1 or 6 Music, or switch over to BBC Four to see who's playing there.

Here's everything you need to know to ensure you don't miss a Glasto moment:

Watch it on TV

There will be over 30 hours of Glastonbury on TV across BBC channels, with more than 100 performances streamed online, reports Somerset Live.

The One Show will be broadcasting a Glasto special on BBC One, with Mel Giefroyc and Jo Whiley, at the programme's usual 7pm slot.

If you're after a more detailed insight into the day's activities, BBC Two will be bringing the first of two programmes this evening, full of shows and stories from day one of the festival. It starts at 7.30pm.

Stormzy's headline set will be broadcast live from the Pyramid Stage from 9.50pm until 1.30am.

Listen to it on the radio

Today, Zoe Ball will be reporting live from the farm for Radio 2. Listeners can tune in over their breakfast to start their day with their favourite artists.

Steve Lamacq will be taking over 6 Music's festival coverage from 4pm-7pm, with special guests including Fontaines DC and Ivor Novello award-winning band IDLES, ahead of their Glastonbury debut. He'll also be exploring the festival site.

BBC Four's festival coverage will begin with Tame Impala's set on the Other Stage.

DJ Target will start 1Xtra's coverage, as he hosts a warm-up party live on air. He'll be joined by special guests ahead of Stormzy's eagerly anticipated headline set, which is due to bring Grime to the main stage of Glastonbury for the first time.

Following Stormzy's show, which will also be broadcast on 1Xtra, Sir Spyro will continue the celebrations until 1am.
