Where to watch England vs France: TV channel and free live stream for World Cup bronze final today

England take on France tonight in the battle of the two World Cup 2026 losing semi-finalists.

The third-place play-off, now known as the ‘bronze final’, is a World Cup tradition and this year, it provides a chance for one of these massive nations to end their tournament on a high note.

France, a popular pre-tournament favourite, had looked unstoppable right up until running into Spain on Tuesday evening as they were nullified by the current European champions in Dallas.

The Three Lions, meanwhile, have been far less convincing in terms of performances, but it was ultimately Thomas Tuchel’s defensive substitutions in an attempt to protect a 1-0 lead against Argentina that ultimately backfired, thus sparking a debate over his future as head coach.

Neither England or France are regulars in the penultimate game of a World Cup tournament, though the former are yet to win this fixture in two previous attempts and Les Bleus have claimed a podium finish twice before.

An added sub-plot for tonight’s ‘bronze final’ is the star-studded World Cup 2026 Golden Boot race where three of the contenders - Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane - are all expected to get one last shot at winning the individual award.
