One of the Spanish league’s biggest title contenders is back in domestic action hoping to find some consistency and win consecutive games. However, they face a very tricky test this weekend with a road game that every top team in the league hates.
Eibar vs. Real Madrid

Real Madrid comes into this one following a spectacular 6-0 victory over Galatasaray in the Champions League on Wednesday, easily the team’s best performance of the season. Brazilian prodigy Rodrygo scored a hat-trick and is now the club’s newest young superstar. He’s hoping to build on that great night with a few starts in a row and a chance to show his potential. But it’s not just about him. Established stars like Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos are playing very well and Eden Hazard is slowly but surely showing signs of being ready to lead this team.
Madrid is in good spirits and will hope to translate that optimism into a victory this weekend, which it needs to continue to put pressure on leaders Barcelona in the title race. But it won’t be easy against Eibar, who loves to make its tiny stadium a fortress against the big teams. Even though they’re not in the top half of the table as many expected, they’ve won two games in a row and are starting to get their best players back from injury. Eibar would love to spoil Real’s party, and Madrid is ready to go on a run.
