It is the second of two friendlies in two different countries in the space of just 24 hours for Xabi Alonso’s side, who are looking to build up fitness and momentum ahead of their start to the new Premier League season in just over two weeks’ time.
Chelsea on Saturday bounced back from successive losses to Tottenham and then Juventus by brushing AC Milan aside.
A strong-looking starting line-up proved too much for Milan, as Joao Pedro scored either side of half-time and Moises Caicedo added a third before the hour mark with a fine volley.
After their tour concludes this weekend, Chelsea return to the UK in preparation for their first home game under Alonso against his former club Real Sociedad at Stamford Bridge, with their Premier League opener then coming against rivals Fulham at Craven Cottage on August 24.
