Peter Pan has officially arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Although the original Lost Boys aren't here for now, he'll eventually recreate a Dreamlight Valley version after unlocking and progressing through his storyline. Until then, we're venturing off into Skull Rock.

How to find Peter Pan in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You'll find Peter Pan inside Skull Rock after finishing the Forgotten's questline. After concluding the main storyline, you'll unlock the Forgotten's "A Forgotten Name" quest, beginning you on the road to unlocking them as a character and, later on, Peter Pan.
Here's a list of every known Skull Rock quest you'll need to complete:
- A Forgotten Name
- Shadows on the Wall
- A Ship of Gold
- The Music's on the Walls
Gameloft originally introduced these missions during the Mysteries of Skull Rock update. You'll need to progress far enough into the main storyline to have met the Forgotten. If you've already reached this point in the story, you'll find A Forgotten Name in your quest log, ready to complete.
However, there is a chance it won't appear right away. At the time of writing, there's a delay with the quest activating, requiring you to wait for it to randomly activate. If it hasn't appeared in your quest log, try restarting Disney Dreamlight Valley a couple of times. In most cases, that'll start the mission, letting you progress with the story.
Skull Rock location
Skull Rock is a large rock formation along the southeast side of Dazzle Beach. After entering the beach, turn toward the eastern half of the beach toward the small, circular island to the south that holds the seven orb pillars from the game's main story. You'll find Skull Rock next to this southern island that, as of the Mysteries of Skull Rock update, is now accessible to enter.

Depending on how far you are into other character's friendship quests, you'll have likely visited Skull Rock in the past. In particular, helping characters like Nala, Stitch, and Prince Eric will eventually lead to you finding this spot. You also needed to locate this landmark during the main storyline as you complete the Between a Skull Rock and a Hard Place quest. Given how infrequently you visit it, it's easy to forget where it is and need a quick reminder.
A Forgotten Name quest walkthrough

The first step to unlocking Peter Pan is completing "A Forgotten Name." This quest will have you finding The Forgotten, giving them an official name, and welcoming them into your village as a permanent resident. The two of you will then venture into Skull Rock, uncovering its secrets and leading directly into Shadows on the Wall.
Shadows on the Wall quest walkthrough
Your next quest, Shadows on the Wall, is all about unveiling Peter Pan's existence. For now, he only exists as a shadow, but that'll change in the future. This mission is divided into two key parts:
Your first task is to venture deeper into Skull Rock, search for a broken lantern hidden in the sand, and use it to craft Pixie Dust lanterns. You'll find most of its ingredients in Dreamlight Valley, including bright, golden Pixie Dust Orbs that fly around your village.

After crafting the lanterns, return to Skull Rock and use their light to illuminate the nearby wooden plank walls. You'll first use them to find Peter Pan's shadow before merging them onto one spot, letting him stop moving to interact with you. A few conversations and a quiz later, and you'll find yourself starting the "A Ship of Gold" quest next.
A Ship of Gold quest walkthrough
A Ship of Gold is a much lengthier quest involving more Pixie Dust, making things fly, and barrel puzzles. After following the shadow deeper into the cave, you'll first follow a Pixie Dust Orb through a tunnel system within Skull Rock. You'll find the orb near the cave's exit, with the tunnel's entrance directly to your right through a gate. This tunnel contains six Pixie Dust piles for you to collect, which you'll use later in the quest.

Your next objective is making something fly. Fortunately, it won't take long to do this, as you'll only need to interact with the pirate ship in the center of Skull Rock. Use the Pixie Dust on it to send the ship flying, letting you traverse the upper level of the cave.
Entering this upper level reveals our next puzzle involving barrels. You'll need to rotate each barrel to face one another and create three pairings. Below are all three pairs:
- Tinkerbell and Bell
- Hook and Clock
- Peter Pan and Sewing Needle
Once you rotate all three barrels, you'll obtain a key to unlock the captain's room inside the pirate ship, letting you enter the second gate and begin the "The Music's on the Walls" mission.
The Music's on the Walls quest walkthrough
The final quest of Peter Pan's introductory storyline is The Music's on the Walls. There are multiple parts to this, divided into the following sections:
The first part of this quest is finding glowing musical notes. At first, you'll only need to find one, but this'll quickly turn into four more. You'll also need to find a buried treasure, which you can access using the raft on Orb Island outside of Skull Rock.

You can find every glowing musical note in the following locations:
- Near The Forgotten after discovering the music note puzzle.
- Inside Ursula's Cave in Dazzle Beach.
- Inside Olaf's Cave in Frosted Heights.
- Inside the treehouse within the Forgotten Lands.
- Inside Dream Castle's foyer.
Once you have every musical note, bring them back to Skull Rock and place them on the pedestal alongside a Pan Flute you obtained earlier in the quest. You'll now have to complete a musical score by using the nearby barrels to move the notes up and down the wall. Use the pedestal's sheet music to align the notes to the lines on the wall.

After completing both walls, Peter Pan will prank you by rearranging everything. Before fixing it, craft another Pixie Dust lantern using the crafting table near the right wall before placing it on the empty rope winch. Now, you can move the light of it and another nearby winch to trap Peter Pan's shadow, letting you redo both music score walls without any interruptions.
Following this strange interaction, Peter Pan will formally introduce himself to you. He remarks that you're a grown-up, which he's not happy about. To prove you still have a child's heart, you offer him a game of hide-and-seek, which he accepts. You now have the option to search for him yourself, ask villagers for help, or use Peter Pan's Pixie Dust to track him down.

You'll find Peter Pan inside the Dark Castle. Enter the Dark Castle using the Plaza's portal and follow the Pixie Dust trail until you find him. Impressed by your performance, he'll agree to join your village. You can now place down his house and pay Scrooge 20,000 coins, letting you officially welcome Peter Pan to Dreamlight Valley and unlock him as a villager.
