Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced overhauled the Jackdaw and its upgrades. Apart from repairing the ship, you can purchase multiple upgrades and unlock four officers. All of them combined make the Jackdaw one of the most resilient and dangerous ships in the Caribbean.
Here’s how you can repair and upgrade the Jackdaw in Black Flag Resynced.
How to repair ship in AC Black Flag Resynced
Harbourmaster
The easiest way to repair the Jackdaw in Black Flag Resynced is at the Harbourmaster in any of the larger towns, like Nassau or Salt Key. Walk up to the Harbourmaster (marked with the ship icon) and interact with him. Repairs cost 500 Reales, regardless of the ship’s health.
Boarding
Another way to repair your ship in Black Flag Resynced, especially if you’re in the middle of a naval battle, is to board an enemy ship. Get its health low until the hook icon appears above its health bar, then get close to the ship and interact to begin boarding.
Kill enemies (and cut off the flag) to lower their morale until eventually they surrender. After capturing the ship, you can choose what to do with it, including using it to repair the Jackdaw. The amount of health you restore is the same regardless of the boarded ship’s class, rounding up to the nearest health bar segment.

How to unlock ship weapons and officers in AC black Flag Resynced
The Jackdaw in Black Flag Resynced has multiple weapon options for each slot: front, rear, broadside, and auxiliary. Most of these upgrades unlock through the story, but something like a Mortar can be purchased as a Harbourmaster’s upgrade.
Officers grant unique perks to the ship. For example, with Lucy Baldwin on board, bracing just before the attack greatly reduces incoming damage. To unlock officers, complete Officer Quests, as they unlock throughout the main story.
