
The Battlefield franchise is back in a big way with some more modern warfare, and it's time to kick things into gear with the game's open beta ahead of launch in October.
Battlefield 6 brings the fight in the year 2027, including modern weaponry and soldiers along with their equipment, like tanks, jets, choppers, and more, in everything from large-scale battles to smaller skirmishes.
Battlefield 6's open beta rolls out across two weekends in August 2025, and we've got all the details on how to play it as soon and as much as possible, with the earliest possible time to play coming on Thursday, Aug. 7.
The full game launches on Oct. 10, but gamers everywhere can try out Battlefield 6 in the open beta. Read on to learn more about what it all entails.

BF6's open beta is playable on Aug. 7-8, Aug. 9-10, and Aug. 14-17. Here's all of the information needed on how to get in to play.

Early Access - Aug. 7-8
- If you signed up for Battlefield Labs before July 31, just log in with your EA account used for it.
- If you didn’t sign up for Battlefield Labs, you can watch select Twitch streamers on July 31 to earn access as a viewership drop.
- Players can pre-load the beta beginning on Aug. 4 at 10am CT.
