Sea-faring adventure Windrose can be played solo, but you can also share your exploits with friends. The dedicated servers can support co-op for up to four people. However, you can also have more if you manage your own servers.

How to invite your friends to Windrose
The process of playing with friends begins by inviting them to your game (I am assuming that you're the host). For starters, add all of them to Steam, as it will make the process simpler. You can send them a friend request using their IDs.
You can play online, but if you want to invite your friends, you'll need to host a game. Select a save: you can either use your own save or create a new one for the co-op experience. Once done, you'll get an invite code (refer to the image above).
Share this ID with your friends, and they will then have to enter the code. Once done, all of you can play together. You can create your own server name, and also add a password for an extra layer of protection. As I said, the official servers can have a maximum of four players at any given time.
How to join a friend's game in Windrose
If you're not hosting a game, you'll need your friend's code to join their adventure. Enter the code, and you'll be able to join the server and play together. If they have a password on their server, you'll need to enter it before you get to join the adventure.
