While not as famous as Christmas or Easter, we might start marking National Fish and Chip day in the calendar, as it turns out it's a great day for bagging a free dinner.
This Friday (7th June), money-saving website TopCashback is offering anyone who signs up to the site £5 cashback when they buy a portion of fish and chips from their local chippy.
And because one day of celebrating fish and chips isn’t enough, TopCashback are giving you from Thursday 6th until Sunday 16th June to get your fill – or until 5,000 redemptions has been reached.
Getting the deal is simply – just follow the three simple steps below.
How to get free fish and chips this Friday
- Sign up to TopCashback for free
- Spend £5 at any UK fish and chip shop and £5 cashback will be awarded (£5 minimum spend)
- Sign back into your TopCashback account and submit your receipt. This can be done by navigating to Offers > Snap & Save. Alternatively, you can submit your receipt via the app (further details on how to download the mobile app can be read here )
- Snap a picture of the receipt, showing the date and time of purchase and the item purchased that is eligible for cashback. You can fold your receipt to show all of the required information ( full T&C’s can be found here ).
- Once receipts have been submitted, cashback will track in member’s accounts within seven working days and will become ‘payable’ within 30 days.
