How to Get Corrupted Tools in 99 Nights in the Forest
Corrupted Tools are exclusive to Hard Mode, which you need to manually activate early in a run. From Day 1, you can access the Research Outpost once your campsite reaches Level 2. However, Hard Mode itself does not begin automatically.
To activate it, you need to enter the basement of the Research Outpost and pull the lever with your Roblox username on it before Day 3 ends. When Day 3 begins, a cutscene plays, and the Corruption System becomes active across the map.

How to Escape Corruption in 99 Nights in the Forest

To cleanse a rift, you have to destroy all corrupted trees around it and eliminate every corrupted animal in the area. As the rift weakens, the purple glow fades, reducing the global corruption level.
