How To Catch Secret Fish in Fish It
Secret Fish are the rarest fish in Roblox Fish It, and, if you want to catch one, here’s everything you have to do:
- Use the right rod. If you want to catch a Secret Fish, you must have at least the Midnight or the Lucky Rod equipped. Any rod below these two can not hook a Secret Fish. Ghostfinn is currently the best rod in Fish It and provides the highest chances of catching a Secret fish. Ares, Astral, and Angler are also good rods to catch a Secret.
- Use the right bait/bobber. At Stingray Shores, buy either the Aether Bait or the Dark Matter Bait. Along with increasing Mutation and Shiny chances, these two baits offer high luck, increasing your chances. Chroma Bait is the least you should have if you want a Secret fish.
- Get max luck. Along with using the rod and bait with the highest luck stat, try to get the Leprechaun I or II enchantment on your rod. This will increase your luck by up to 50%. Furthermore, grind for a Secret during the 2x Luck server event. If you have enough Robux, you should also purchase the Luck Potion from the Scientist at Stingray Shores.

The Ghostfinn Rod can be obtained by completing the Deep Sea Quest at the Lost Isle. You will need the Diving Gear because the Lost Isle is an underwater location. Go to the Sisyphus Statue room to start the quest.
