How to complete Week 2 events in Forza Horizon 6 Festival Playlist Series 1

Forza Horizon 6’s Festival Playlist entered its second week of the Welcome to Japan campaign that will last the whole month. It’s now Autumn in Japan, and a new set of challenges awaits.

Playground Games gave us an even easier week this time around, so completing all the weekly events and challenges will sometimes take even less than an hour, depending on your skill and a bit of luck.

Here’s the comprehensive guide on how to complete all Week 2 events in Forza Horizon 6 Festival Playlist Series 1.

All Week 2 challenges in Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 playlist

Weekly Challenge — King of the Road

In this weekly challenge, we have to drive the 1989 Nissan Silvia K’s and complete four challenges with it. These challenges need to be completed one after the other; you can’t just skip to the final one and do it first.

  • Own and Drive the 1989 Nissan Silvia K’s.

1989 Nissan Silvia K’s is one of our starter cars in Forza Horizon 6, so this challenge is completed by itself. If you sold it for some reason, you can repurchase the car at the Autoshow for 40,000 credits.

  • Earn 3 Stars at Drift Zones in the 1989 Nissan Silvia K’s.

1989 Nissan Silvia K’s is a very good drift car, so you don’t even need to modify it past equipping drift tires. The challenge is fairly straightforward, simply pick the Drift Zone you like the most and earn three stars.

  • Win a Road Race in the 1989 Nissan Silvia K’s

This one’s even simpler. Put back your old tyres and do any Road Race event the car is eligible for.

  • Kilometer Drag Meet in the 1989 Nissan Silvia K’s.

The easiest challenge of them all: fast travel to the Horizon Festival, drive to the Drag Strip that’s located there, and complete the course once. A far cry from last week’s Touge Race against the Toyota AE86.

You’ll get 25,000 Credits as the reward for completion.

This week’s Photo Challenge has us take a picture under the famous Tokyo Tower. You can do so by fast traveling into any part of the city and driving to the location of the Tower, as it’s visible from everywhere. Alternatively, use our handy map here.

You’ll get the “Oooh… shiny!” Forza Link phrase as the reward for completion.

Treasure Hunt

To get this, you need to find the treasure chest and smash it to get 100,000 credits as a reward. The location is once again marked on the map, so fast-travel there and grab the stash that’s inside.

Seasonal Championship — Trail Mix

The Seasonal Championship — Trail Mix is a series of three races across Japan. Just like last week’s event, you don’t need to do them consecutively, and you also don’t have to win them all to become champion, as you get points that are tallied after all three are finished.

The event is restricted to B-Class 600 PI Modern Rally cars. Easily the best options for this championship would be a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR or a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI.

The reward for winning the Championship is a 1993 Schuppan 962CR.

Seasonal Championship — Majestic Domestics

Completely like the Seasonal Championship — Trail Mix, Majestic Domestics is, too, a series of three races with the same format as before.

The event is restricted to D-Class Eclectic Domestics cars. Some of the best options to run would be the ever-popular 1993 Autozam AZ-1, slightly upgraded 1991 Honda Beat, or an engine-swapped 1984 Honda City E II.

The reward for winning the Championship is a 2016 Abarth 695.

Seasonal Championship — Country Living

Seasonal Championship — Country Living is another off-road three-part event with the same format as always.

The event is restricted to A-Class Unlimited Offroad cars. By far the best option for this event is the 2022 Subaru BRZ Forza Edition that you can purchase from the used car spot at the snowy resort. Another decent alternative is the 2014 Ford #11 Rockstar F-150 Trophy Truck, or the upgraded 2016 Jeep Trailcat.

The reward for winning the Championship is a 2021 Aston Martin DBX.

Speed Zone

The next challenge we get is the Forest Straight Speed Zone. It’s the first of three World Events this week.

The challenge has a B-Class 600 PI Japanese car restriction, and it’s possibly the most difficult challenge this week, as you need to beat a 136.8 km/h average speed, which could be tricky in a car of this class, especially if the surface is wet after the rain.

The 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI that we used for Trail Mix is a very good car for this event, especially if you go for it downhill rather than uphill.

The reward for completing this challenge is a Wheelspin.

Trailblazer

Just like the Speed Zone, the On Par Trailblazer is also a World Event.

The challenge has a B-Class 600 PI Japanese car restriction, and we can safely reuse the 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI from the previous event as the gold course that you need to traverse is fairly bumpy, but nothing that this legendary Subaru can’t handle.

The reward for completing this challenge is a Wheelspin.

Danger Sign

The Highway Jump Danger Sign is the World Event that could also be completed with the 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, but there’s a chance that it could be too heavy to beat the required 244 meters. In this case, pick any other Japanese car close to 600 PI, but make sure that it’s lighter than the aforementioned Subaru.

The reward for completing this challenge is a Wheelspin.

Seasonal Job — Tokyo City Food Delivery

Instead of last week’s Horizon Play — Floor It event, which was quite tedious to complete due to the nature of random tracks and disciplines you get online, this time around, we got a very easy one: a food delivery challenge. There’s nothing extraordinary to do to complete the event: simply work as a delivery driver for one shift.

The reward for completing this challenge is a 1987 Nissan Be-1.

Touge Showdown — Mazda of the Mountain

This week’s online challenge is a Touge Showdown, which you have to complete in a Mazda car. Any Mazda car will do, and you don’t even have to win it, simply participating in one is enough. First, check the classes and PI scores of the Mazda cars you have (you can get two through Treasure Cars and Barn Finds), and then queue for the Touge Showdowns until the race of the desired class pops up.

The reward for completing this challenge is a 2020 Lamborghini Huracán Evo.

Monthly Rivals

The Monthly Rivals event is unchanged from last week. It’s a time attack in Mazda Furai, and you can still complete it if you haven’t done so last week.

The reward for completing this challenge is a Super Wheelspin.

Daily Challenges

As always, in addition to the weekly challenges, we also have the daily ones that will gradually unlock every day, and completing each one awards you 5,000 Credits.

  • Day 1: Win a Cross Country Race in a Sports Utility Hero.
  • Day 2: Purchase an Aftermarket Car.
  • Day 3: Earn a total of 483 km/h across Speed Zones.
  • Day 4: Earn 3 Stars at Danger Signs.
  • Day 5: Earn a LINK Skill.
  • Day 6: Earn an Awesome Air Skill in the 1991 Honda Beat.
  • Day 7: Earn 3 Awesome Drift or E-Drift Skills at Shibuya Crossing.

Rewards

Completing all the weekly and daily challenges will award you 45 points.

At 15 points, the prize is the 1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec.

At 30 points, the prize is the 2001 Honda CR-X SiR.

At 60 Seasonal points, you can get the 2008 Mazda Furai.
