Peculiar Plumbird Tangible Traces quest walkthrough in The Sims 4

To complete the Tangible Traces quest for the Peculiar Plumbird, you need to socialize with the Lost Adventurer, locate Plumbird Evidence in the Wanderwood Wilds region, and discuss Plumbird Evidence with Gibbi Point locals. These are some decently tricky tasks to get done, so here's a breakdown of how to tackle them.
Travel to Wanderwood Wilds
For both of the tasks you need to get done, you must be in the Wanderwood Wilds area, so start by traveling to this neighborhood. Wanderwood Wilds is the area located near the top left corner of Gibbi Point.
Socialize with the Lost Adventurer
Your first key mission is to socialize with the Lost Adventurer, which is a townie named Raheel Kunal. He doesn't always stay in one location, but he's commonly found around Wanderwood Wilds, wandering near the Old Firewatch Tower.
If he's not there, you might find him fishing nearby or relaxing at a campfire. When I went searching for him, he was jogging along a trail near the Old Firewatch Tower. The "Lost Adventurer" title is displayed right above his name when you hover over this Sim, making him easy to distinguish from other NPCs.

Once you find him, select any socialization option you want. I chose to start by introducing myself, but you've also got several Plumbird-themed dialogue choices available before you even know him, so it's entirely up to you how you choose to kick off the conversation. Using any social option with him completes your first task.
Locate Plumbird Evidence in Wanderwood Wilds
The second feat you need to get done is a lot trickier, as you must locate Plumbird Evidence in Wanderwood Wilds. You're looking for a Plumbird Fossil in this neighborhood, which can be found fairly close to the Hothead Rock Geyser.
Wanderwood Wilds is a huge area, so start by moving your camera around until you have it overlooking the Hothead Rock Geyser. Then, look slightly north of the central geyser, just down the path that leads up to the nearby lake. You'll find the Plumbird Fossil sitting fairly close to the lake, near some bushes. It's a dark brown fossil, so it blends in quite well. Click on it and select the "Investigate Plumbird Evidence" option.

Discuss Plumbird Evidence with Gibbi Point locals
Now that you've learned more about Plumbirds, it's time to share your knowledge. Track down a Gibbi Point local to discuss the situation. There are three townies you can chat with for this task:
- Nigel the Camp Director, who is almost always found at Camp Gibbi Gibbi. He also has a house with his family in the Wanderwood Wilds area.
- Toshie the Storyteller, who can be found over in the Jellyfish Junction region.
- Raheel the Lost Adventurer, who you previously chatted with and is generally found close to the Old Firewatch Tower.
You only need to talk to one of these three characters to progress. I chose to use Raheel again, since he was still fairly nearby, and I was able to use the "Focus the Camera" option from the Relationships tab to find him again easily. With whichever townie you choose, select the "Discuss Plumbird Evidence" option. As soon as this chat ends, the Tangible Traces quest will be complete, and you can move on to other tasks like getting an Imaginary Friend.
