How to catch Smeargle in 'Pokmon Go'

How do you catch Smeargle in "Pokemon Go"?

In one of the most inventive ways yet, Niantic came up with a process using its latest feature Go Snapshot. If you take augmented reality photos of your Pokemon, you'll run across Smeargle photobombing your creature. After you take the picture, the pocket monster appears on the map and you can tap on it to catch. It apparently appears randomly. I caught my Smeargle after taking three photographs of different Pokemon around my neighborhood. Smeargle will have a copy of the moveset of the Pokemon in the picture.

As for the Go Snapshot feature, it's one of the less hyped but satisfying features in the game. To use it, all players have to do is hit the camera button on the top right of a Pokemon info screen and point their camera on the ground. They'll see yellow markings indicating that the technology is working. After that, players tap where they should place the Pokemon and it pops up like magic.

The interesting thing about the Go Snapshot is that players can walk 360 degrees around the Pokemon. It can produce some compelling images, and it's a creative outlet for players to show off the pocket monsters they've been collecting. I've been playing with Go Snapshot since its recent release on iOS devices. The feature works surprisingly well providing you can capture the Pokemon and the environment in the right light.

Go Snapshot is just another way for players to interact with the game, and one that will attract the artistic players at heart.
