The Nation Basketball Association action continues on Friday night as the Boston Celtics welcome the Washington Wizards to a matchup between two Eastern Conference foes headed in completely different directions.
The Celtics are the best team in the NBA this season so far, holding a firm lead over the rest of its conference as well as the Western Conference — where things are much closer. Jayson Tatum leads Boston’s attack, with a points-per-game average that is on the cusp of the league’s top 10.
The Wizards, on the other hand, have struggled mightily during the 2023-34 campaign, sitting near the cellar of the Eastern Conference and the league overall. Kyle Kuzma has been one of the lone bright spots this season, averaging a little over 20 points per game.
