How the top four odds changed after Manchester United's win against West Ham

The fight for a top-four finish and Champions League football next season continues to rumble on, with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United laying down a marker.

Tottenham hit four past relegated Huddersfield Town in the early kick off, while the late game saw United advance past West Ham courtesy of two first-half penalties.

That puts the pressure upon Chelsea and Arsenal, the former of whom tackles title-chasing Liverpool on Sunday while Unai Emery’s side face another testing trip on the road as they head to Vicarage Road to tackle FA Cup finalists Watford.

Tottenham’s win made it three in a row at their new stadium and Mauricio Pochettino’s side are the favourites to seal a spot in Europe’s elite competition next season, according to OddsChecker, as they are now as short as 1/6 to clinch that spot.

Manchester United , meanwhile, have seen their odds shortened to 13/5 but they are still seen as the outsiders in the hunt for a spot in the Champions League.

Chelsea , currently fourth ahead of their trip to Anfield to face Liverpool, have drifted to 5/6, while Arsenal , who could leapfrog the Blues depending on results this weekend, are currently ranked at evens.
